I. FOUNDATION YEAR FOR BACHELOR PROGRAMS

Vietnamese students who have just graduated from high school or are just a first-year university student are completely unable to apply for a bachelor program in Germany because of the differences in educational system and assessment between the two countries.

Therefore, Foundation Year for Bachelor Program (Studienkolleg) of UE is the right choice for students who aspire to study in this country having the largest economy in Europe.

UE Foundation Program has 3 courses for students to choose:

1. Business Course - W- Course (English)

• Suitable for: Students wishing to study a bachelor's degree in English in fields related to business, economics, and social sciences
• Subjects: English, Mathematics, Economics, and German

2. Business Course - W- Course (German)

• Suitable for: Students wishing to study a bachelor's degree in German in fields related to business, economics, and social sciences.
• Subjects: English, Mathematics, Economics, and German

3. Technology Course (T- Course) (German)

• Suitable for: Students wishing to study bachelor's degrees in German in fields related to engineering, technical research, and natural sciences
• Subjects: German, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

Entry requirements:

• Complete high school program in Vietnam
• Language level B1
• Pass the test and interview

Study time: 1 year

Intake: October

Campus: Iserlohn

Fees: € 12,500 (including equipment, learning materials, library use, recreational and sports activities, public transportation tickets, insurance)

After completing the program, students will take the final exam of the Higher Education Entrance Qualification Examination (feststellungsprüfung) in June of the following year, and use the results to apply to German public universities or to UE in July of the same year.

II. PRE - MASTER PROGRAMS

• Vietnamese students who graduated from university many years ago and want to further their studies but need to update the latest knowledge of the industry?
• Students who want to study a different major but university knowledge and qualifications do not allow them to get direct entry to the master's degree?

If so, the UE Pre-Master Program is a reasonable and appropriate choice for students who are aspire to upgrade their knowledge and qualifications.

UE has 02 Pre-Master programs depending on the major of the student:

1. For Majors of Art and Design:

Campus: Berlin or Hamburg

Tuition fee: € 5,190

2. For Majors of Business, or Sports, Media and Events

Study time: 6 months

Languages: English or German

Campus: Berlin, Hamburg or Iserlohn

Tuition fee: € 5,670

Upon successful completion of the program, students may transfer to the respective master's programs at UE.
