Registered nurses with profiles in the federal Express Entry pool were invited to apply for a provincial nomination in Nova Scotia’s latest PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) draw to have the opportunities to get Canadian permanent residence status.

Canada has just had a major change in regulations regarding the Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) for international students wanting to study in Canada starting this Fall.

Each designated Canadian learning institution (DLI) sets its own admissions policies. DLIs are government - approved colleges, universities and other educational institutions that welcome international students.

In light of this situation, the Immigration Department (IRCC) stated that they will not refuse applications that are missing documents due to the coronavirus. Instead, they will keep the application open, and continue to request additional documents or necessary actions from the candidates until they receive the document or are provided with evidence showing that the candidates has fulfilled the requirements of IRCC.
